Crunchyroll Anime Nights is coming back to celebrate one of the most popular isekai series to date, which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary! Last Night to Login: OVERLORD 10th Anniversary Celebration will open on November 17, one day only, in the United States and Canada to highlight the iconic series with a special screening of the first seven episodes from the first season of OVERLORD . Throughout his adventures, he ascends to the title of Sorcerer King Ains Ooal Gown. Kugane Maruyama began the OVERLORD novel series in 2012, with 16 volumes released in Japan to date. Yen Press releases an English-language version of the novel series. The first season of the TV anime premiered in July 2015, with Naoyuki Ito directing at studio Madhouse. Additional staff include Yukie Sugawara on the script and series composition, Takahiro Yoshimatsu on character design and chief animation director and Shuji Katayama on music. The second and third seasons premiered in 2018, with the fourth season premiering in 2022.
