Anime production house Studio TRIGGER recently teased a new project from director Akira Amemiya ( Inferno Cop , SSSS.GRIDMAN ), and it’s officially here with the debut of The Lenticulars . This short web anime series is live on TRIGGER's YouTube channel with its first episode, “Work Gloves are Gloves,” and new episodes will follow every Friday at 3:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Akira Amemiya is credited with directing, writing series composition and scripts, character designs, episode direction, storyboards, animation and colors, as well as some of the background work. Kosuke Hayashi wrote the lyrics and composed the anime’s theme song, “The Lenticulars,” which is by Scenarioart. Rikiya Okada (24chocolate) composes music and Daiki Takasawa (also of 24chocolate) is music director. You can see the first episode with optional English subtitles below.
