In 2014, the My Hero Academia manga was released, introducing us to the story of Izuku Midoriya and his big, heroic dreams. Born Quirkless (this universe’s take on superpowers), “Deku” had his work cut out for him, but he was determined to be someone who saved people with a smile on his face. In 2016, the anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi’s hero story began airing in Japan, widening the scope of the narrative and pulling in even more fans (myself included during My Hero Academia Season 3 ). But like all great shonen adventures, all good things must come to an end, as we’re now in the final season of this unforgettable anime. I’m sure I’m not the only one who started the series because a friend couldn’t stop talking about it, and it’s been an intense, heartfelt, inspiring journey ever since. With My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON airing, I couldn’t help but think back on some of my favorite moments, which, of course, made me wonder what everyone else’s most iconic moments were.
