Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie Part 1 Reveals April 24, 2026 Premiere in New Trailer

Symphonies always come in multiple sections and just like its musical inspiration, Sound! Euphonium ’s final crescendo will be coming in multiple parts. At The World of Sound! Euphonium stage at Kyoto Animation’s fan event today, the directors for the franchise announced that Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie Part 1 is set to premiere in Japan on April 24, 2026 in 200 theaters across the country. A new trailer for the compilation film was released at the event alongside Part 1’s key visual and the advanced ticket bonus details. Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1 Anime Trailer and Visual Advanced ticket go on sale on October 31 in Japan and come with one of four clear files, given out at random, with the girls paired up and in casual streetwear.  Kumiko and Reina Hazuki and Sapphire Mayu and Tsubame Kanade and Ririka RELATED: Kyoto Animation’s Sparks of Tomorrow Anime Formally Revealed in First Trailer, 2026 Release Taichi Ogawa ( Sound! Euphonium: May the Melody Reach You! ) takes over full directorial duties from The Final Movie with series director Tatsuya Ishihara stepping up as chief director for the films. Ogawa confirmed that there will be new animation and new scenes for the film version of the story at the stage event. The rest of the staff from the third season continue in their roles, with Jukki Hanada as series composer, Shoko Ikeda and Kazumi Ikeda as character designers with Kazumi also as chief animation director and music from Akito Matsuda in cooperation with Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and Progressive! Wind Orchestra. The anime continues to be produced at Kyoto Animation. Sound! Euphonium ’s TV anime seasons are streaming on Crunchyroll, including the third season of which is being compiled into these final films. Crunchyroll describes the full series as such: Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind.
