The official website for the Animation ID project released a new key visual for the upcoming light anime adaptation of Yoroida's slice-of-life fantasy manga series #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf ("Elves Living in Kanagawa"). As with the first one , this new visual was also newly drawn by the manga author. New key visual Additionally, four new voice cast members have been revealed. All six members, including the two cast members previously announced — Yokohama Elf by Chiaki Kobayashi (Yukiya Himuro in The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague ) and Kawasaki Human by Yu Hayashi (Jogi in You and Idol Precure♪ ) — are from Kanagawa Prefecture, the main setting of the story. Narration and Yousei-san (The Fairy) voiced by Kotaro Nishiyama (Atsushi Kinugawa in Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! ) "This time, I appeared as the narrator and the fairy. I really related to how he struggles at a black company and exudes that sense of real life. By the way, I grew up in northern Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, right near Machida. So I totally get the jokes about treating Machida as part of Kanagawa!! (laugh)" The series follows a community of elves forced to abandon their home after a forest fire two years prior. Now, elves mingle among humans in Kanagawa Prefecture. The story follows elves, humans and other creatures in different cities across the region. The light anime series is set to premiere on December 4, 2025, following the live-action adaptation of the manga already premiered on September 30.
