‘Meat the Carvers Halloween Special’ Trailer – Rhonda Shear, Diana Prince, Felissa Rose Star in Animated Horror Comedy

Meat the Carvers Halloween Special will premiere this Saturday, October 25, at 9:30pm ET on the Kings of Horror YouTube channel as the lead-in to the Up All Night revival.

Cult icons Rhonda Shear (Up All Night), Diana Price (The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs), and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) lend their voices to the project.

Created by Samson Cornette and Daniel Nation, Meat the Carvers is an animated horror-comedy web series. The first season is streaming for free via Kings of Horror.

In the Halloween special, Jack Carver, everyone’s favorite psychotic puppet, is stuck babysitting his ghostly niece Eve on a trick-or-treat spree from Hell — leaving a trail of traumatized kids and furious parents.

Meanwhile, Victor’s “dad energy” reaches terrifying new heights as he hands out candy like he’s chumming for sharks, and Delores (Rose) decides to literally raise the dead, summoning Ghoulia Child (Shear) for a recipe from beyond the grave.

Over in Sleepy Hollow, Damien’s romantic night with Katrina (Prince) turns into a bloody mess when the Headless Horseman crashes the party. By the end of the night, the Carvers prove once again that nothing says “family bonding” like a few felonies and a whole lot of fright.

Cornette serves as the show’s writer and primary voice actor in addition to composing the score with his band Ashes of Seraphim. Nation handles character design, artwork, and animation direction in addition to voice work. Producer Paul Coffey assists with planning shots and sound effects.

“Bringing this twisted family to life with the voices of Rhonda, Diana, and Felissa is a dream come true for any horror fan, and we can’t wait for everyone to Meat the Carvers,” said Cornette.

“We wanted to make something that was both a loving nod to the horror films we grew up on, taking inspiration from adult-oriented animation as well as the shows ‘The Munsters’ and ‘The Addams Family,’ and give it a more modern twist,” added Nation.
