Dario Argento’s ‘Tenebrae’ Returns to VHS from Vice Price

Vice Press is bringing Dario Argento‘s Tenebrae back to VHS, officially licensed and fully functional.

The slipcase edition, limited to 500, is housed in a cardboard sleeve featuring artwork by Ben Turner with a screen printed VHS tape.

The collector’s edition is housed in a clear clamshell with a double-sided cover featuring Turner’s art and the original theatrical art.

Both versions come in NTSC and PAL formats for North American or European VCRs, respectively. They’re $39 each.

Turner’s artwork also available as a poster along with a Phenomena design by Creepy Duck Design. The 24×36 lithograph prints are limited to 175 for $51 each or $90 for the pair.

In Tenebrae, an American writer in Rome is harassed by a serial killer who is murdering everyone associated with his latest book.

Anthony Franciosa, John Saxon, Daria Nicolodi, Veronica Lario, John Steiner, and Giuliano Gemma star in the 1982 Italian giallo classic.

Vice Press’ Suspiria VHS release from last year is also still available.
