After a charting hit with Megan Thee Stallion in 2024, Japanese singer-songwriter and rapper Yuki Chiba is back to debut "Ski Ga Ski (隙が好き)" with Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean, exclusively on Crunchyroll News ahead of its streaming release. The track, which you can be one of the first to listen to below, combines Yuki Chiba's and Big Sean's signature styles to celebrate Japanese culture and hip hop. It's no surprise the pairing works so well, considering both are longtime vocal anime fans. Listen to the full track below: LISTEN: "Ski Ga Ski" by Yuki Chiba (ft. Big Sean) “I started this song in Tokyo at my studio and finished it in New York City with Big Sean," said Yuki. "The hook came naturally to me and is a play on using the Japanese word「好き」and 「隙」with the English word “Ski.” When we got the studio and Big Sean hopped on, I knew his verse was going to go crazy. He continued the love and came through to play it live with me at my first headlining show in America. It was very surreal for me. I’m filled with gratitude.” The exclusive debut also accompanied custom anime-inspired artwork featuring Yuki Chiba and Big Sean, designed in collaboration with Crunchyroll and artist ore_ore_ore as the official cover image for the song. "Japan and Detroit’s finest link up on Yuki Chiba’s new song," Big Sean said. "We’re both huge anime lovers, and we’re excited to collaborate with Crunchyroll on the anime-inspired art." Big Sean most recently released a collaboration album earlier this year with The Alchemist titled SeanChemist , with his latest studio album Better Me Than You releasing in 2024.
