Sam Raimi’s ‘Send Help’ Trailer Will Debut in Theaters with ‘Black Phone 2’

The first preview of Sam Raimi‘s Send Help will be attached to Black Phone 2 when hits theaters this weekend.

There’s an interesting history there, as Raimi helmed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after original Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson dropped out, allowing him to begin work on The Black Phone.

If you can’t catch it on the big screen, keep an eye on Bloody Disgusting for when the Send Help trailer drops online.

Described as a cross between Misery and Castaway, the horror thriller opens on January 30, 2026 from 20th Century Studios.

Stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, two colleagues must overcome past grievances and work together to survive. It becomes a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.

Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange) and Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) star with Dennis Haysbert (“24”) and Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians).

Raimi directs from a script by Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th). Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Beetlejuice) composed the score.
