The buddy cop comedy manga Super Psychic Policeman Chojo revealed today that the series will be adapted into a TV anime that will broadcast in Japan in 2026. Junichi Yamamoto directs the anime adaptation at Arvo animation, with series composition and scripts by Hayashi Mori and character designs by Masakatsu Sasaki. Teaser art, an official website and a congratulatory image by author Shun Numa were published to coincide with the announcement. Viz Manga publishes an English language version of the series and describes the story as follows: On her first day at the West Chinjuku Police Station, Ippongi realizes she got the short end of the stick: Her new partner, Chojo, uses his psychic powers to do everything except work. But after some yakuza threaten to take over Ippongi’s family’s dojo, Chojo begins to take his job more seriously, and the pair embark on a comedic whirlwind solving crimes, catching bad guys, and blundering their way through life as police officers.
