A trailer released for Scenes from Awajima ( Awajima Hyakkei ) today announced the upcoming music drama anime's April 2026 broadcast and two key cast members. Niina Nakabayashi voices Wakana Tabata and Yo Taichi (Guideau in The Witch and the Beast ) voices Kinue Takehara, both of whom are previewed in the trailer below. The first character visual featuring Wakana was also shared, with others to come over the next three months. Yen Press recently licensed Takako Shimura's original manga and describes the story: Awajima Opera School—where countless girls from across the country flock in hopes of one day standing on the big stage.
