Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anime Unveils New Trailer, April 2026 Premiere

A new trailer just debuted for Daemons of the Shadow Realm , the upcoming anime adapting the latest work from Fullmetal Alchemist author Hiromu Arakawa. The series is set to kick off in April 2026 and will air for two consecutive cours. The anime will be available to members in the following territories: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and the Indian Subcontinent. Masahiro Ando ( Sword of the Stranger ) directs at studio bones film ( Gachiakuta ), with series composition by Noboru Takagi ( Golden Kamuy ), character designs by Nobuhiro Arai ( Bungo Stray Dogs ) and music by Kenichiro Suehiro ( Fire Force ). Hiromu Arakawa began serialization of Daemons of the Shadow Realm in December 2021 in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, with 10 volumes released in Japan to date. Square Enix releases an English-language version of the manga, and describes the series: In a world where certain humans command mighty supernatural duos called Daemons, it is the birthright of "the children who sunder day and night"—twins Yuru and Asa—to rule over these powerful entities.
