‘Shelby Oaks’ – Join Neon & Brooklyn Horror Film Festival for FREE Sneak Screening and Q&A with Chris Stuckmann

YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann makes his feature debut with the upcoming Shelby Oaks on October 24 from Neon. Our New York readers, however, are in for an early Halloween treat: Neon and the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival are offering a FREE sneak screening of the highly anticipated film. Even better, Stuckmann will be there for an exclusive live Q&A.

It all goes down Tuesday, October 14th at Regal Union Square (850 Broadway New York, NY 10003), so hurry up and RSVP now. Check in and doors open at 6 PM EST, but plan to arrive extra early as seats will be given on a first come, first served basis. What’s more, seat-saving is not permitted, so make sure your pals or loved ones are with you.

Drawing comparisons to The Blair Witch Project and Hereditary, the supernatural horror movie incorporates found footage elements in a traditional narrative.

A woman’s obsessive search for her missing sister leads her into a terrifying mystery at the hands of an unknown evil.

Camille Sullivan, Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Keith David, and Derek Mears star.

Shelby Oaks is the highest-funded horror film in Kickstarter history with over $1.3 million raised. Following the campaign, Mike Flanagan joined the project as an executive producer via his Intrepid Pictures.

What happened to Riley Brennan? Investigate the film’s cryptic website.
