‘Silent Hill f’ Sold One Million Copies a Day After Launch

Suffice to say, Konami’s latest entry in the Silent Hill series in Silent Hill f has been a hit. The publisher announced that cumulative digital and physical sales across PC and consoles since the game’s launch last week hit 1 million units in just one day.

“This achievement reinforces the series’ status as an iconic horror franchise that continues to resonate with fans yearning for an unsettling psychological horror experience,” states Konami in a press release. “Through the lens of Silent Hill f, players dive into a haunting narrative by Ryukishi07 based on a “beautiful yet horrifying” artistic vision.”

Indeed, in his review, Harrison remarked that this new entry represented “a (long overdue) return to form” for the series, thanks to its ambitious themes to its artistic setting, compelling cast, fascinating narrative, and phenomenal soundscape.

By comparison, Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake didn’t take long to hit 1 million sales from its October 8 launch day, though SH2 took four days instead of just one. The next question will be how long until Silent Hill f reaches two million in sales. It took Silent Hill 2 until January of this year to reach two million.

If you haven’t already, you can grab the game today on PlayStation 5Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
