Previously released on Steam last December, International Cat Studios and publisher Future Friends Games’ The Cabin Factory will be heading to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series and the Xbox One on October 16. Meanwhile, you can grab the game on Steam right now with a 25% discount until October 6.
Inspired by the likes of POOLS, Exit 8 and P.T., The Cabin Factory is a spot-the-difference anomaly horror title that sees you working at The Cabin Factory. Your job as a Cabin Inspector is simple: inspect the cabins and determine whether or not they are haunted.
That involves you venturing into the cabin, checking out all of the cabin props in each room. Any visual anomalies? Anything moving that shouldn’t be? If it’s haunted, hightail it out of there and hit the red ‘Danger’ button. If it’s safe, you hit the green ‘Clear’ button. The final decision is yours, but know that you’ll be penalised for making the wrong choice.
Simple, right? The game is a short horror experience of about an hour, so no need to worry about things being dragged out for long.
