Fresh off his debut feature Together, director Michael Shanks has set up his next project. Deadline reports that Shanks will write and direct sci-fi thriller Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel.
The upcoming movie has been boarded by A24, Deadline also reports.
“The sci fi thriller follows a man who wakes up trapped in a mysterious hotel room. All alone in a mind-bending prison, his only chance for escape is teamwork: with himself.”
“When Shanks declared that Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel would be next up, A24 moved fast to make sure that they were the home of his next film and are now moving fast to get it up and running as Shanks begins the casting process,” the exclusive report continues.
Mike Cowap of Princess Pictures and Adam McKay and Todd Schulman of HyperObject Industries will produce Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel, with Michael Shanks also producing.
Starring real-life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco, Shanks’ Together was picked up and released by NEON. The body horror nightmare scared up $32 million at the box office.
