New Fist of the North Star Anime Introduces Toki in Latest Character Reveal Trailer

On September 13, the new anime adaptation of Fist of the North Star assembled all four Hokuto brothers — Kenshiro, Jagi, Toki and Raoh — for a live stream and casting announcement. Since then, each new character has made his debut via a short "character reveal" trailer. Today, it's Toki's turn. As previously announced , Tsuguo Mogami steps into the role of Toki, the elegant second brother whose fighting style is both healing and destructive. Mogami's other roles include Mr. Compress in My Hero Academia and the Chief in the new anime adaptation of Cat's Eye . A short spin-off anime titled Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star will be broadcast and streamed starting in January 2026. The original Fist of the North Star manga by Buronson (story) and Tetsuo Hara (art) was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from September 1983 to August 1988, compiled into 27 tankobon volumes. It has been animated many times as a TV series and OVAs, and in 1995 it was made into a live-action movie starring Garry Daniels. The synopsis from the official website reads: In the year 199X, the world is engulfed in a nuclear inferno! The seas have vanished. The earth lies in ruins. It seems all life has been wiped out…but humanity has not perished! Across the scorched and broken land, survivors cling to hope, desperately searching for food and water. However, their hopes are trampled underfoot by violence. Might makes right in this world, and the weak are crushed without mercy. From the depths of that despair, a lone man with seven scars on his chest emerges. His name is Kenshiro, heir to the legendary assassination art Hokuto Shinken.
