Oneway Ticket Studio will be bringing its extraction FPS The Midnight Walkers to Steam Early Access on November 20. The devteam also confirmed that they will be participating in October’s Steam Next Fest, with “a much-improved version of the game” and a new video. In the meantime, we’ve got the cinematic trailer to coincide with the Early Access announcement.
The Midnight Walkers sees players exploring the many floors of the Liberty Grand Center mega complex, fighting off not just zombies, but their fellow players, in brutal PvPvE action for either solos or trios. The aim is to gather as much valuable loot as possible and escape safely. However, even the weakest zombies in The Midnight Walkers are deadly if you find yourself surrounded, and other survivors pose an even greater threat.
Zombies and other players aren’t the only things you’ll need to worry about in the game. As each game progresses, poison gas spreads throughout the complex, forcing players to flee to new floors via stairwells or elevators, and pushing opposing players into an ever-shrinking safe space. The more enemies nearby, the harder it is to safely extract. Luckily, you’ll be well equipped to face the danger, with four playable classes to pick from depending on your playstyle, and a variety of melee and ranged weapons to discover.
Oneway Ticket Studio plans on remaining in Early Access until “mid 2026,” with final timing adjusted based on player feedback.
