Next up for the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade mobile game is a new original story chapter titled Cursed Prison Island Arc. The new story is set to kick off sometime in early 2026, and a new video is here to show off MAPPA’s opening animation and the theme song, “Chained Chase” by Who-ya. Under its current rule, however, some Jujutsu Sorcerers and those with Cursed Energy are being imprisoned without justification, which spurs Yuji Itadori and Kento Nanami to investigate. In the process, a group of mysterious Cursed Corpses attack them, knocking Nanami out and kidnapping him, kicking off a rescue mission. Original characters include: Eiji Urushi voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi (Aoi in Kaiju No. 8 ) Ritsu Mitsufuji voiced by Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa in Attack on Titan ) Hidaka Shirakura voiced by Yuki Kaji (Eren in Attack on Titan ) Crunchyroll streams the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime—which adapts the manga by Gege Akutami—and describes it like so: Yuji Itadori eats a cursed finger to save a classmate, and now Ryomen Sukuna, a powerfully evil sorcerer known as the King of Curses, lives in Itadori’s soul. Curses are supernatural terrors created from negative human emotions. This cursed energy can be used as a power source by jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits alike. Guided by the jujutsu sorcerers, Yuji Itadori joins Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses.
