A sequel is officially in the works for the There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… anime, which adapts writer Teren Mikami and illustrator Eku Takeshima’s light novel series. Following the end of the first season, the official accounts confirmed the production of a five-episode sequel depicting the fourth volume of the original light novel. A broadcast date for the five episodes was not announced at the time of reporting. Ahead of the premiere, the sequel will be restructured into a special theatrical edition — titled There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover!
