The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's classic romantic comedy manga Ranma 1/2 released a second trailer and a key visual for the upcoming second season. The trailer introduces the new season's opening theme song "Wo ai ni" (means "I love you" in Chinese) performed by Japanese musical unit WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA for the first time. Netflix streams the series worldwide. Shogakukan serialized the original Ranma 1/2 manga from August 1987 – March 1996 in their Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. VIZ Media also publishes an English-language version of the series. Konosuke Ueda directs the newest TV anime at animation studio MAPPA, with Kimiko Ueno providing the series composition, Hiromi Taniguchi on the character designs and Kaoru Wada on music. VIZ Media releases the original Ranma 1/2 manga in English, describing the first volume thus: Years ago, Genma promised his old friend Soun Tendo that Ranma would marry one of Soun’s three daughters and carry on the family’s martial arts school.
