The official website for the upcoming TV anime Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP! announced today that the broadcast of the anime has been postponed. The anime was originally set to premiere in October 2025 . The statement reads: "The broadcast of the TV anime ' Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!,' originally scheduled to begin airing in October 2025, has been postponed to further enhance its quality. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause to all those who have been eagerly awaiting the broadcast." The new broadcast schedule has not yet been determined. Anime Premieres in October 2025 The TV anime is based on the isekai fantasy comedy manga series created by Yu Shimizu (story) and Makoto Aogiri (arts), which has been serialized on Kodansha's Suiyobi no Sirius manga service since February 2019. The series has released 12 collective volumes to date. Crunchyroll has planned to stream the anime for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Oceania, Middle East, North Africa and India. The synopsis (via Kodansha) reads: 16-year-old Yukito Kirihara lives with his 14-year-old sister Sana, who he treasures more than anyone else. But when an ogre shows up outside of his window looking for Sana (a shocking event in its own right), Yukito leaps to save her—and is killed. He’s offered the promise of reincarnation by a mysterious woman, who gives him a character sheet in a mysterious book. But when Yukito sees Sana in there, too, he sets off to find her, and save them both—even if he only has 1 hp with which to do it!
