The fourth annual Silver Scream Con came to a close yesterday with an Ice Nine Kills panel, which Matthew Lillard crashed to make a two-part announcement with the band.
“I am very excited to announce that I am in the INK cinematic universe, and I will be in the next video,” Lillard told the crowd.
More than just music videos, Ice Nine Kills produces short films that tell an ongoing story. Previous genre favorites to appear include Bill Moseley, David Howard Thornton, Joe Bob Briggs, Terry Kiser, Joel David Moore, and more.
Lillard also revealed that his horror-themed spirit brand Macabre Spirits is collaborating with Ice Nine Kills on Horrorwood Reserve, a bourbon made from bloody butcher corn.
Both the new music video and the whiskey are set to launch on October 9.
Ice Nine Kills’ latest single, The Matrix-inspired “The Great Unknown,” dropped in July, while Macabre Spirits recently released its latest beverage, Hell Is Not Mocked.
