Announced way back in January, solo developer Brave Traveller Games’ unique take on a Survival Horror experience with Vicious Cycle recently locked in a September 17 release date on Steam. For those curious, the devs have released a demo for the first-person title, which in case you need reminding, has you peddling your bike through a darkened forest that may or may not have supernatural inhabitants.
“I’ve been working on feverishly on new content for the final game for a while and I’m happy to finally show it all off,” says Rhys Thomas of Brave Traveller Games. “In fact, there’s so much content that it could fill a shiny new trailer!”
As mentioned, Vicious Cycle is a horror game where you ride your bike deep into a cursed forest. You’ll be needing to dodge supernatural threats while on your bike in order to survive. You won’t be relegated to peddling, mind you. You’ll also need to investigate blocked and or abandoned areas on foot, solving Resident Evil-style puzzles, all the while hiding from the creatures that dwell within these areas.
Fighting is not an option, so hiding from and avoiding these creatures is the only way to avoid a grisly fate.
