Lucky for us, Ironwood Studios isn’t done with their driving survival adventure title Pacific Drive, announcing a brand new DLC in “Whispers in the Woods”. Coming later this year to Steam, the Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5, the new premium DLC brings with it a brand-new 8–12 hour story featuring a fully-voiced cast of new characters, new gameplay systems, additional content, and even more terrifying secrets to uncover.
Pacific Drive: Whispers in the Woods takes players deep within a strange and mysterious part of the Olympic Exclusion Zone’s forests. Available at any point after the first few hours of the game, the DLC features a group of Anomaly-obsessed fanatics, who have marked the woods with strange symbols and effigies.
Amongst the new dangers and mysteries to uncover, you will find and experience the power of Artifacts, a new gameplay system featuring objects that create mysterious changes and effects to you and the world around you. Carrying Artifacts increases the challenge you and your car will face, but they’re instrumental to your survival.
Within the expansion’s effigy-filled woods, players will discover brand-new junction types, anomalies and anomaly behaviors as they delve deeper into the Zone. Learn the ways of this mysterious group as you interact with their altars, use their Artifacts and adorn your trusty station wagon with those new parts.
