It’s been a few years since Leigh Janiak directed all three films in Netflix’s original Fear Street trilogy, but Janiak is back this week with a new thriller titled Harness for Orion.
Variety reports that Leigh Janiak will write, direct and executive produce Harness, “described as a thriller set in a gruesome sect of the sports betting world in the ‘80s.”
Here’s the synopsis: “In the violent world of underground horse racing, a wannabe female jockey and her trainer brother-in-law become entangled in an illicit relationship full of blood, sweat, and sex that pushes the limits of their bodies and the law.”
Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions will produce Harness.
Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
