Anime fans will soon be heading back to school, because a new Assassination Classroom anime film entitled Gekijoban Ansatsu Kyoshitsu: Minna no Jikan (“ Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everyone's Time ”) is heading to Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026. Teaser art, a trailer and the main staff have been announced for the new film, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Assassination Classroom TV anime and which features an entirely new story that has not been animated before. Assassination Classroom New Movie Announcement RELATED: Assassination Classroom Anime x Keina Suda Collab Music Video Streamed Masaki Kitamura directs the new film at animation studio Lerche, with Makoto Uezu providing the script and Aya Higami providing the character designs. Shueisha serialized the original Assassination Classroom manga by Yusei Matsui from July 2012 to March 2016 in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and the series was also released in 21 collected volumes. VIZ Media publishes an English language version of the series. Crunchyroll currently streams the Assassination Classroom TV anime, and describes the story: Forget about homework and pop quizzes. The students of Class 3E have a far more important assignment: kill their teacher before the end of the year! A tentacle-d sensei that moves at Mach 20 is out to conquer the classroom after destroying seventy percent of the moon.
