29-sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou Anime Unveils January 2026 Premiere, Key Visual, New Voice Cast

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ippei Nara's fantasy manga 29-sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou (translated to "The daily life of a 29-year-old single mid-level adventurer") announced today that the anime is set to premiere in January 2026. The site also posted the first key visual, depicting the characters Hajime Shinonome, Rirui, and the dwarf girl Anyango exploring a dungeon. In addition to the previously-announced Makoto Furukawa as Hajime Shinonome and Sayumi Suzushiro as Lirui, the site revealed three new voice cast members. Shizuka Ito (Sailor Venus/Minako Aino in Sailor Moon Crystal ) voices Veronica Bali, an acquaintance from the days Hajime lived in the slums. She is an ancient succubus who runs a shop where other succubi work. She is an undisputed sadistic person who loves using her servant, Rishat, as a chair and tormenting others. She is incredibly strong, remaining completely unfazed even in the dungeon. Comment from Shizuka Ito: As a sexy succubus older sister who toys with Hajime, a kind big sister to Rirui-chan, or even "Chair!" Veronica shows us so many different sides, making her a truly delightful character to play. I hope I can convey her charm in its entirety. I sincerely hope you'll join us in smiling warmly as we watch the daily lives of Hajime and the even cuter, upgraded Rirui-chan from the original work! Veronica Bali Shizuka Ito Yuki Kuwahara (Tohru in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid ) plays Anyango, a dwarf girl skilled in crafting and Rirui's true friend. She deeply loves her grandmother, who raised her with kindness, and strives to prove herself as a capable blacksmith in the family business, though her grandmother tends to worry about her. She admires Hajime, a skilled fighter in the dungeon. She also possesses the ability to read and perform simple calculations. Comment from Yuki Kuwahara: I'm Yuki Kuwahara, playing the role of Anyango! Anya-chan is someone the word “straightforward” fits perfectly. Her ever-changing expressions are utterly endearing, and I've enjoyed playing her since the audition…! I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be involved. Thank you so much! Her charm also lies in her unwavering convictions and her deep care for family and friends! This story gently envelops your heart with the kindness and warmth of such characters! I hope many people will enjoy it! I would appreciate your support! Anyango Yuki Kuwahara Tomohiro Ono (Lowji Mist in The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World ) voices Rishat, Veronica's servant. He's a pure masochist who loves being tormented — like becoming Veronica's chair. Though treated roughly, he wears a smile and seems thoroughly satisfied. In the dungeon, he fights diligently, striving to be Veronica's shield. He also seems to enjoy being scolded by others besides Veronica, even begging Hajime and the others… Comment from Tomohiro Ono: I'm Tomohiro Ono, playing the role of Rishat. When I read the original work, I couldn't put it down—it's packed with laughs, healing moments, and seriousness. And right from his first appearance, he's absolutely preposterous. I've been looking forward to playing him ever since I got the script. Now, just thinking about everyone seeing him like this makes my heart race…haahaa . I can't wait for the broadcast day! Please look forward to the story woven by these uniquely vibrant characters!
