The first chapter in the A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace anime series is officially set for an October 6 at 21:30 JST broadcast, following today's release of a new key visual. Saori Hayami also joins the cast as Yuzuki Hazama alongside Sumire Uesaka as Nagomi Hayachine. Yuko Natsuyoshi leads the slice-of-life comedy as Nana Futami, a shy manga artist working on her first serialization. Kuzushiro pens the original manga. The anime's official website describes the story: Futami is a novice shojo manga artist. With the help of her cool editor and reliable assistant, she's been able to start publishing her dream shogi manga, "Subaru e." The stress makes her stomach hurt, however, so she has to push the deadline for the first chapter and is stuck at her desk without making progress on the storyboards.
