The action comedy manga Kill Blue announced today that a TV anime adaptation is currently in the works for 2026. A teaser trailer, art and key staff were revealed for the newly announced project. Hiro Kaburagi ( Kimi ni Todoke – From Me to You ) directs the TV anime at animation studio CUE, with Miho Daidoji providing the character designs. VIZ Media releases an English-language version of the series. The story of Kill Blue is described as follows: A legendary assassin at 39. Starting over… as a middle schooler.
