During the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime fifth anniversary livestream, the lead voice actors announced that the third season of the anime series, based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, will premiere in January 2026. A teaser trailer for The Culling Game and a key visual for the newly announced compilation movie were released along with the premiere date. JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 Teaser Trailer Shota Goshozono will direct JUJUTSU KAISEN The Culling Game at studio MAPPA, with Hiroshi Seko writing the series composition alongside Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa on character design and Yoshimasa Teuri composing the music, all returning from the second season of JUJUTSU KAISEN . The stream also announced a new compilation movie titled JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- , which will be released on November 7 in Japan. The compilation will feature a recap of the Shibuya Incident arc and the first two episodes of The Culling Game . The exhibition will cover both the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death and Shibuya Incident arcs of the anime series. After Ikebukuro, the exhibition is planned to tour Japan. The latest JUJU FES was also revealed as the final celebration of the anime’s fifth anniversary. JUJU FES 26 will be held in early Fall 2026. Lastly, the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade smartphone game announced its next story, the Cursed Prison Island arc. Anime series composer Hiroshi Seko will oversee the scenario for the smartphone game's original new arc. A trailer for the new arc was released, and more details, including the opening video produced by the team at MAPPA, will be announced on September 23.
