If you thought we were already hitting peak difficulty in Elden Ring Nightreign , think again. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced a new “high-difficulty challenge mode” known as Deep of Night , which is scheduled to begin on September 11. Deep of Night is an Expedition mode that makes a number of tweaks to up the challenge in the multiplayer survival spin on Elden Ring . Enemies will be stronger, you won’t be able to specify the target Nightlord, and ongoing terrain changes won’t be reflected. The deeper you go, the tougher it gets and the depth can also be affected through fluctuating win/loss ratings. There are some exclusives to the new mode, too, including special Depths Relics.
