‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ Joins ‘Fortnite’ Today in a New Survival Horror Escape Experience [Trailer]

Warner Bros. has decided to once again dip into Fortnite for a little cross promotion, this time for Michael Chaves‘ The Conjuring: Last Rites. Developed by content creator ItsBlind (who has done several horror-themed maps in Fortnite), this collaboration sees 1-4 players jump into The Conjuring Universe to face Annabelle as well as The Nun in this psychological horror experience.

The premise sees you (and up to three of your friends) as paranormal vloggers in an abandoned building, looking for your next viral video. As you explore further, an unexplainable presence begins to haunt you, requiring you to try and make it out alive.

Based on the real-life Smurl Family Haunting, The Conjuring: Last Rites sees Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return for one last case as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Joining them in the case are Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Steve Coulter, Rebecca Calder, Elliot Cowan, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Beau Gadsdon, John Brotherton, and Shannon Kook.

The Conjuring: Last Rites arrives September 5 in theatres. And check out the new IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX posters released earlier today, alongside two new clips.
