The official website the To Your Eternity TV anime series announced today that three-member techno pop unit Perfume performs "Fumetsu no Anata" ("You who are immortal"), the theme song for its upcoming third season, the Present World arc. As fans of the work, they readily accepted the offer. The song was newly written, composed, and arranged by Perfume's long-time sound producer, Yasutaka Nakata. The unit's three members shared the following comments on the song: A-chan: We had all read the original manga and watched the anime, so when we received the offer, we immediately agreed. I think it turned out to be a really good song! With philosophical themes, "To Your Eternity" repeats the cycle of life and death many times, but what resonates in my heart is the strength of human beings to overcome sadness and pain. The theme song also feels like our voices stand out more than usual, as if we are singing at the top of our voices… That's how I feel. I'm really looking forward to Season 3.
