An anime adaptation has officially been unveiled for Shinobu Kaitani’s LIAR GAME manga, a psychological thriller that ran from 2005-2015 in the pages of Weekly Young Jump magazine. A teaser trailer and visual accompanied the news, as well as our first look at the main staff behind the production, which is currently slated for 2026. Yuzo Sato ( Kaiji: The Ultimate Survivor ) serves as chief director of LIAR GAME , with Asami Kawano (episodes of My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 ) directing and Tatsuhiko Urahata ( Hajime no Ippo ) writing series composition and scripts. Kei Tsuchiya ( TRILLION GAME ) is on board as character designer and Kisuke Koizumi is sound director for the Madhouse production.
