Delicious in Dungeon and Ryoko Kui Exhibition Heads to New York This October

Fans of manga author Ryoko Kui and her Delicious in Dungeon series will soon get a chance to celebrate it all in the United States. Following earlier premieres in Tokyo and a tour throughout Japan and Asia, Kadokawa announced plans to bring the official Ryoko Kui Exhibition and Delicious in Dungeon Exhibition to New York City this fall. It all goes down at the Chelsea Walls venue in NYC (231 10th Avenue) from October 10-26. Here’s more on what you can expect from the exhibition: Ryoko Kui’s Art Showcase An extensive selection of reproduced artwork, featuring not only Delicious in Dungeon, but also from her early collection —The Dragon’s School Is on Top of the Mountain (2011), Seven Little Sons of the Dragon (2012), and Terrarium in Drawer (2013).  Creation Process Revealed Never-before-seen rough concept sketches, an in‑depth long interview, and time‑lapse drawing videos that reveal how Kui’s illustrations come to life.  Immersive Photo Spots Fan-favorite photo-ops with dungeon monsters and realistic food replicas, recreated from the world of Delicious in Dungeon. RELATED: Delicious in Dungeon Wins Harvey Award for Best Manga Ryoko Kui’s Delicous in Dungeon manga won multiple awards over the years, including Best Comic at the 55th Seiun Awards, Best Continuing Manga Series at the first American Manga Awards and Best Manga at the Harvey Awards, all in 2024.  A second season of the anime adaptation from studio TRIGGER is currently in the works .
