The TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga series Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai (“It's Not Possible To Be In a Romantic Comedy With a Childhood Friend”) revealed a new piece of teaser artwork as well as the identity of another cast member. In the anime, voice actor Yu Serizawa (Kaname Arisugawa in TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You ) plays the role of Akari Hiodoshi , a childhood friend of the protagonist Eeyuu. Tezuka Productions animates the TV anime adaptation, which will broadcast in Japan in 2026. No further details about the series have yet been revealed at the time of this reporting.
