The upcoming theatrical anime film based on the sports manga 100 METERS (also known as Hyakuemu in Japan) published an “intermission video” featuring footage from the movie as well as commentary by Japanese sprinter Abdul Hakim Sani Brown and lead voice actors Tori Matsuzaka (who plays Togashi in the film) and Shota Sometani (who plays Komiya ). The film releases in Japan on September 19, and GKIDS will distribute the film in U.S. theaters this October. 100 METERS Intermission Video Kodansha serialized the original 100 METERS manga by Uoto from November 2018 to August 2019 in the Magazine Pocket shonen manga magazine, and five collected volumes were also released in Japan. Kenji Iwaisawa directs the film at animation studio Rock 'n' Roll Museum.
