More weirdly wonderful coworkers are joining Futami's office! The anime adaptation of A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace has introduced three new cast members, along with art for all three new characters. Joining the cast will be: Shiori Asakura voiced by Iori Saeki (Ciel in The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses ) Ren Takizawa voiced by Mamiko Noto (Rin in Inuyasha ) Wakako Tatsunami voiced by Kikuko Inoue (Kasumi Tendo in Ranma 1/2 ) Shiori Asakura Ren Takizawa Wakako Tatsunami RELATED: A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace Anime Reveals Main Cast, Staff in 1st Trailer Kaoru Suzuki ( My Roommate is a Cat ) directs A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace at studio Voil, with Mio Inoue ( Slow Start ) on series composition, Kana Miyai ( The Apothecary Diaries sub character design) on character designs and Kei Haneoka and Hironori Doi on music. Ryo Tanaka serves as sound director. The series is based on the manga by Kuzushiro. The anime's official website describes the story: Futami is a novice shojo manga artist. With the help of her cool editor and reliable assistant, she's been able to start publishing her dream shogi manga, "Subaru e." The stress makes her stomach hurt, however, so she has to push the deadline for the first chapter and is stuck at her desk without making progress on the storyboards.
