The official Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba accounts reported the latest box office figures for Infinity Castle up to July 27, which revealed that not only did the film reach 10 billion yen in eight days, the fastest film to do so ever, but it now stands as the 29th highest-grossing film in Japanese box office history . As of the tenth day of release, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has made 12.87 billion yen (US$87.03 million) on the back of 9.1 million tickets sold. This makes Infinity Castle the 29th highest-grossing film ever released in Japan in only a little over a week, overtaking the original 1993 Jurassic Park film. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is still the second-highest-grossing film of 2025 in Japan behind Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback ’s 14.59 billion yen total box office . What’s more, Oricon has reported that Infinity Castle passed the 10 billion yen milestone in eight days, making it the fastest film in history to do so. The record was previously held by Mugen Train , which passed the milestone in ten days in 2020 .
