Back in April, it was announced that Aikatsu! and Idol Time Pripara would be joining forces on the big screen. This month, we've received even more info, including a teaser, a visual and news of new songs. Today, Aikatsu! x Pripara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- drops its first full-length trailer! TV anime series began airing in September 2012, while Pripara started in July 2014. Both franchises continue to be highly popular today, spawning an assortment of sequels and spin-offs. Takahiro Okawa, who served as episode director for Aikatsu Friends! and Aikatsu on Parade! , is attached to direct Aikatsu! × Pripara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- based on a screenplay by Michihiro Tsuchiya at Bandai Namco Pictures. Additionally, Ryuichi Kimura and Makoto Moriwaki, who directed Aikatsu! and Pripara , respectively, participate as supervisors. Crunchyroll streams Idol Time Pripara , describing the series thus: Yui is a girl who lives in the town of Paparajuku, and who dreams of being an idol, even if she realizes that being an idol is next to impossible for her. Her friends often remark on how much she dreams about it. But then, the PriPara idol theme park opens in her town, and that an idol named Laala is coming to town from Parajuku, which only makes Yui dream even bigger.
