After a month of build-up, the Pokémon franchise hosted its Pokémon Present live stream tonight. The stream revealed upcoming news for the franchise's projects, including trailers for two animated series and details on Pokémon Champions and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. There is a new Pokémon Concierge trailer for the Netflix series, which blends daily island life with Pokémon. The series will release new episodes on September 4. Aardman, the creators of Wallace and Gromit , shared a sneak peek teaser trailer of their upcoming collaboration series featuring Pokémon in the Galar region. The series also got the title Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu and a release window of 2027. Pokémon Champions , the spin-off battle game, got a new trailer which revealed that you can bring Pokémon over from Pokémon Home or meet Pokémon within the game – much like the rental system in previous games. The game will allow you to fully customize your Pokémon for competitive battles, including quickly changing stats, natures, and moves. It is set to be released in 2026 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, and Android devices RELATED: Pokémon Premieres First of Two Summer Vacation Animated Shorts The latest trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A showed off more of the game's story, including that Pokémon are Mega Evolving without the use of their trainers and the Rust Syndicate, the game's gang. The presentation also revealed that full trainer customization will return, and Mega Dragonite will be the first new Mega announced for the game. New key visual for Pokémon Legends: Z-A The game will release on October 16, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders available now.
