The official website for the upcoming TV anime Wash It All Away released a seasonal visual for summer today. The summer visual depicts the protagonist, Wakana Kinme, walking in Atami Shinsui Park in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The anime's main story takes place in the city. New visuals will continue to be released seasonally. Sayumi Suzushiro (Himari in Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive? ) is cast as the protagonist, Wakana Kinme. Kenta Onishi ( Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included ) serves as director, alongside series composition writer Toko Machida ( Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan ) and character designer by Azuma Tozawa ( Hell's Paradise animation director). Okuruto Noboru ( Even Given the Worthless "Appraiser" Class, I'm Actually the Strongest ) works on anime production. Mitsuru Hattori's original manga was serialized in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023, releasing ten collected volumes in total. Square Enix also publishes an official English version of the original manga and describes the story: For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana's devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers' precious items.
