Just one day before the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie premieres in Japan, the series announced the manga has more than 200 million volumes in circulation worldwide (including digital volumes). The number was announced during a commercial after today's special Hashira Training Arc broadcast. 164 million of those volumes were sold in Japan, with the other 56 million being overseas, bringing the current total to 220 million. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series announced on March 1 that the new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie will premiere in Japan on July 18. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the first movie worldwide starting in August, with screenings in the United States and Canada beginning on September 12 .
