Ranma 1/2 VA Noriko Hidaka Performs Classic Opening Theme for CrosSing Project

Noriko Hidaka has an impressive voice acting career, with roles ranging from Noriko Takaya in Gunbuster to Bellemere in One Piece , but she is likely most recognizable to fans as Akane Tendo in Ranma 1/2 — a role she is reprising in the new anime adaptation of the Rumiko Takahashi classic. Now, Hidaka is stepping up to perform the original anime's iconic theme. Hidaka collaborated with the CrosSing Project to do a cover of "Jajauma ni Sasanaide," better known in English as "Don't Make Me Wild Like You." The song served as the first opening theme to the original Ranma 1/2 anime adaptation. Originally performed by Etsuko Nishio, the song was also previously covered by Rei Sakuma as Akane's love rival, Shampoo.
