Resident Evil: Survival Unit Revealed as Mobile Strategy Game

Aniplex of America announced a new Resident Evil mobile game during its games panel at Anime Expo 2025 on Thursday. Resident Evil: Survival Unit is a strategy game in the works as a collaboration between developer JOYCITY and Capcom, and it’s currently eyeing a launch on iOS and Android devices in North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea and Asia. According to the announcement, the game reimagines the series as “a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile platforms,” and aims to appeal to both new players and longtime Resident Evil fans. More information will be revealed during an announcement stream on July 10 .
