Puni-chan’s The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom isekai fantasy light novel series will be adapted into an anime. The imprint’s official social media accounts revealed the anime adaptation of the light novel, which is written by Puni-chan and illustrated by Akeno Naruse. The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom follows Tiararose Lapis Clementille, a Japanese woman who reincarnates into the otome game Lapis Lazuli Ring . She’s supposed to be the game's antagonist, but her bad day turns good when the crown prince of another nation proposes to her. As of this writing, 14 volumes of the light novel have been released. A manga adaptation drawn by Hoshina has also been released, with 15 volumes published to date. Between the two versions, over 5.6 million copies have been printed and sold digitally. The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom also got a visual novel game from Operahouse, which was released on Nintendo Switch and Steam on March 21, 2024.
