Known to horror fans for his role in Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs, Sean Whalen made his directorial debut with last year’s horror-comedy Crust, and Deadline reports this morning that Whalen is back this year with a brand new horror movie titled Swipe.

Deadline details, “Swipe follows a young woman who must save her imprisoned brother from a sinister family of captors: a ruthless mother and her three mute daughters.”
Elaine Hendrix (Dynasty), Hana Mae Lee (Pitch Perfect), Dominique Columbus (Road House), Ray Santiago (Ash vs Evil Dead), Phillip Garcia (Clean Slate), Bryan Fitzgerald (American Rust), Alex Rich (The Patient), and Rebekah Kennedy (To The Bone) also star.
Mark Mardini wrote the screenplay for the upcoming Swipe.
