"BLADE," performed by BLUE ENCOUNT, will continue to serve as the series's opening theme. While the verse used for the first cour focuses on Yaiba's growth into a strong samurai, the second verse is all about forming bonds with friends. Kairi Yagi got her big break as the singing voice of Vivy in Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song- , and has since performed theme songs for Undead Unluck and The Irregular at Magic High School . She will perform the show's new ending theme song, "Action!" Takahiro Hasui ( Mob Psycho III ) directs YAIBA: Samurai Legend at WIT Studio, with Toko Machida ( Kemono Michi: Rise Up ) on series composition, Yoshimichi Kameda ( Mob Psycho 100 ) on character designs and chief animation direction and Yutaka Yamada ( VINLAND SAGA ) and Yoshiaki Dewa ( Hell's Paradise ) on music.
