Pokémon Horizons Anime Celebrates 100 Episodes with New Artwork and Video

The Pokémon Horizons anime broadcast its 100th episode in Japan today, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, the show has released a celebratory video and two pieces of new artwork showing the trajectory of current Pokémon protagonists Liko and Roy. The new video clocks in at 100 seconds, in honor of 100 episodes, and features new artwork by series character designer Rei Yamazaki. The images show Roy and Liko at the beginning of their journey vs. where they are today: The newest Pokémon anime, titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series in English, features the first new protagonists in the history of the franchise and started in Japan on April 14, 2023, with Saori Den directing at OLM. The series premiered in English in the UK in December 2023 on BBC iPlayer and in North America on Netflix on March 7, 2024, with the first 12 episodes.
